High-Performance Floor Panel Systems

Strong, insulated, and designed for faster, smarter construction.

Floor Panels Built for Strength & Efficiency

Our floor panel system is designed to provide a strong, insulated, and efficient foundation for elevated and multi-storey homes. Using Spandek® Zincalume® cladded panels that span up to 4.4 metres with lengths of up to 10.5 metres, the system offers both durability and design flexibility.

Finished with yellow tongue flooring, the panels deliver a stable base that reduces the need for excessive stumps or concrete, making them lighter on the land and easier to install. With an insulation rating of R 5.8 (U-value 0.17 bare), performance can be further enhanced with additional coverings, ensuring year-round comfort and energy efficiency.

Engineering specifications

Our roofing panels have been engineered and tested to meet the highest structural standards, with certification under the Building Code of Australia Appendix. They successfully resisted a nominal test load of 3.7kPa at the James Cook University Cyclone Testing Centre.
Designed specifically for Region C wind conditions, the panels are tested against an ultimate wind speed of 70 m/s with a maximum eave height of 6.0 metres. The system factors in a terrain category of 2, with shielding and topographic multipliers of 1.0, ensuring reliable performance in exposed environments.
To guarantee resilience, the panels have been tested across a range of pressure coefficients, including external wall (0.65), external roof (0.9), internal (0.7), and local pressure (1.5). Under these conditions, the panels achieved ultimate limit state design pressures of 5.54 kPa at 3.6 metres and 1.99 kPa at 6 metres, confirming their ability to withstand extreme weather events.

Applications

Multi-storey buildings

perfectly suited for use in elevated and two-storey homes.

Flexible ceiling finishes

compatible with standard ceiling finishes for a seamless interior look.

Integrated utilities

electrical wiring can be run neatly along the valleys of the Spandek®.

Optional suspended ceilings

allows for the installation of hanging ceilings if preferred.

Fixing method

Our floor panel system uses the same click-lock installation as our roofing panels, making it fast and reliable. The panels are secured to the C channel bearers by screwing through the valleys, ensuring a strong and stable base. On top, yellow tongue panels are laid across the corrugations and fixed with high-performance polyurethane glue. This creates a solid flooring surface, ready for your choice of additional coverings such as tiles, timber, or carpet. These coverings not only provide a modern, stylish finish but also increase the R-value, boosting the overall energy efficiency of your home

Frequently Asked Questions

Our floor panels use Spandek® Zincalume® cladded panels with a structural polyurethane core, finished with yellow tongue flooring. This creates a lightweight, durable, and insulated flooring system.

The system uses a click-lock installation, the same as our roof panels. Panels are screwed into C channel bearers, with yellow tongue flooring glued and fixed on top. Additional coverings like tiles, timber, or carpet can then be added for both style and increased insulation.

The panels achieve an insulation value of R 5.8 (U-value 0.17 bare), which can be further improved with floor coverings. This helps maintain year-round comfort and lowers energy costs.

Yes. The system is ideal for elevated and multi-storey homes, allowing for standard or suspended ceilings. Utilities such as electrical wiring can be run neatly along the valleys of the Spandek®.

They offer faster build times, lighter construction, reduced site waste, and reliable fire and weather resistance.
